MouseScribe 1.4 Portable
MouseScribe is tailored to boost productivity by offering easy-to-use tools for drawing, highlighting, and visualizing key actions on your screen. Whether for presentations, tutorials, or everyday tasks, MouseScribe makes your work more efficient and engaging.
There is no need to install the application, as it is delivered to you in portable mode. Simply double –click on the main executable to launch it. You will immediately notice the cursor highlighter and the toolbox transparent button displayed on the desktop.
All the tools made available to you by MouseScribe are shown in its toolbox. Simply click on the transparent button and the toolbox is instantly displayed. Designed for multi-monitor support, MouseScribe’s toolbox includes customization options for all the tools. As such, you can adjust the opacity level and the size of the drawing tool.
The pencil’s color can also be customized, as MouseScribe allows you to choose between red, yellow and blue, colors that are bound to be the most visible on any desktop, regardless of the background.
MouseScribe also features a small window that displays all the key and click actions. In other words, this key press display can reveal the keys you press on the keyboard and the mouse clicks. You can choose to have this window shown with a title bar or not and make it transparent or opaque. The text style and size are also customizable and so is the window color.
As for the cursor highlighter, its opacity and dimension can also be tampered with. Alongside it, you have the click visualizer, whose appearance can also be customized, as you can modify the opacity, the size and the mouse click delay.
In the lack of indications, getting accustomed to MouseScribe might take a while, but such an application could surely come in handy during presentations or while recording a tutorial. That is probably the reason why its developers also included a link to the Windows Snipping Tool in the toolbox: you can use them together to create engaging tutorials or presentations.
