Winstep Xtreme — replacement for the standard Windows shell with many convenient features, which sometimes are lacking in a standard envelope. install the package you get at the disposal of several modules (NextSTART, WorkShelf, FontBrowser, NeXuS), each of which performs a specific task in the design of the shell and has its own unique set of functions.

I'm not sure if I managed to install this program, the corrected version makes my antivirus program scream. Normally you just have to accept an exception and then it's fine. This is not the same, so in the end I don't know if I installed the program with its latest fix for the problem raised (loss of license). As I don't want to completely remove my antivirus to install this program, I give up and will put back my old version that I bought several years ago. I am posting this comment just in case it might help someone.

Well put whole program folder in exceptions and it should be okay, I think it also depends on what AV ur using.

I have done this several times, but in this case it did not work as usual, I do not understand why!

I have redone the complete test by putting all the directory where the files are in the exceptions of the antivirus. The program is installed, with an alert from my antivirus at the end. So I'm not going to keep this version and stay with the one I bought several years ago (for the use I make of it, I have all the options that go for me)

Ya but is the installer still version 20.10 or is it the new 22.7 one?

There is no cure for the new version, so I see no reason to keep track of changes in versions. If you need to find out the current version that is downloading now, then download it and look through the file properties which version is indicated.

Ah yes, installer details say it's 22.7. Maybe it would be a good idea to update the title of the post to reflect that this is version 22.7 instead of 20.10.
