DS4Windows is an extract anywhere program that allows you to get the best DualShock 4 experience on your PC. By emulating a Xbox 360 controller, many more games are accessible.

Enables you to fully configure your DualShock 4 controller

While the tool does not require installation, you may need to check whether the driver for the controller has the latest version and install the one you need, based on your operating system. You can get started by connecting the controller to the PC via a USB cable or Bluetooth.
The program comes with a clean and user-friendly GUI that includes an interactive sketch where you can get starting with mapping the buttons. You can add any action to your favorite button or you can edit, remove and add actions while tweaking the rumble, sensitivity, gyro or acceleration.
Moreover, you can customize the Lightbar Flash latency, change its tint, calibrate axis or alter the touchpad so that it does not interfere with your gaming when you are using the mouse and keyboard, just to name a few.

Assign games from the PC or your Steam library

The tool allows you to create profiles for a list of games on your PC, but you can also import some from your Steam library if you find it more convenient. Moreover, you will be happy to learn that you can configure up to 4 controllers at the same time and assign profiles for each of them.

Requirements

Microsoft .NET 4.6.2 or higher (needed to unzip the driver and for macros to work properly)
Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable. x64 or x86
ViGEmBus driver (DS4Windows will install it for you)
Microsoft 360 Driver (link inside DS4Windows, already installed by Windows if you've used a 360 controller before)
Sony DualShock 4
Connection method: Micro USB cable, Sony Wireless Adapter, Bluetooth 4.0 (via an adapter like this or built in pc). Only use of Microsoft BT stack is supported. CSR BT stack is confirmed to not work with the DS4 even though some CSR adapters work fine using Microsoft BT stack. Toshiba's adapters currently do not work.
