IP Traffic Spy gives you the possibility of monitoring raw data that is transmitted back and forth on your computer or on your local network. It can provide you with large amount of information, in exchange for a simple specification. The application comes with a few other useful features as well, for filtering or saving the information and others.

Typing in an IP address and hitting the Return key or clicking a button is sufficient to start monitoring. You can provide your own IP, if you wish to monitor data on your own computer or you can type the address of another machine, from your network, to monitor the data that is being received and transmitted there.

The gathered information includes dates and times, S-IP and D-IP addresses, S-ports and D-ports, as well as the actual text that is being transmitted. You can double click an entry to view the text on a separate window, along with options for viewing it as safe text, raw or HEX. All entries on the user interface can be filtered, to display nothing but data that was transmitted to or from a specific IP, through a certain port or to exclude that data.
