Cisky ·commented in DVDFab StreamFab 6.2.0.4 | Portable | RePack by elchupacabraI confirm what ghost321 said on how to make the ddl work on Netflix: uninstall the 6.1.6.5 version of StreamFab (if you have it updated via program itself) and re-install it from the installer. For the record, I did a clean installation just to be safe and cleaned my Windows registry too from all traces of the previous installation. I hope it this can help. Cheers.

Thank you, man. In the end I had to do just as you said and clean up every single trace of the portable version I found in the Windows registry with an uninstaller. I crossed my fingers because I didn't know if I had to search for the downloader engines too that come with the program or any other thing, but it seems it have already worked this way.
Eventually, I installed another version with its own official installer. At least now I know where things are written and can update it from the program itself since it doesn't overwrite or delete the ddl.
I find it inconvenient and counterproductive to have a portable version of a program if you can't simply delete it or overwrite the files, and need to clean the Windows registry to update it. Especially with StreamFab which is updated almost weekly. It completely loses the «portable» purpose. So I would not recommend using the portable version of this program. I will definitely never use it again.
Thanks again for your reply.

Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me out because I'm a bit stuck here with the portable version of StreamFab. I'm completely new to StreamFab, by the way.
Here's my problem: With the previous version, I simply dragged the folder "StreamFab 6.1.5.9 (x64)" out of the rar file and placed it on my secondary hard disk (D:). That was the first time I installed StreamFab on my PC.
Now, I've downloaded the 6.1.6.4 version, which, like the previous one, has a folder inside the rar named "StreamFab 6.1.6.4 (x64)." However, I didn't want to lose all of my settings. Instead of dragging out the whole folder and deleting the old version's one, I only dragged its contents (folders App, Data, and StreamFab.exe) and overwrote the same folders in the "StreamFab 6.1.5.9 (x64)" folder.
However, not only did I lose all of my settings, logins, and queues, but the software doesn't work at all now. Just before replacing it, I tested the previous version on Amazon, and despite what I read, it worked perfectly fine. I updated to this version because I wanted to download from Disney+ and Netflix as well, but now I can't download anything.
Additionally, with the previous version, even though I only dragged out the folder with the said three files inside, I noticed I also have another folder in «C:\Users\User\Documents\StreamFab» with a LiveUpdate.log file inside, and a DVDFab folder in «C:\Users\User\Documents\DVDFab» with again the log, Output and Temp folders, despite giving the program a custom address for those folders.
Furthermore, after searching my disk, I found three other folders in «C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming»: a DVDFabDownloader folder with a reports subfolder, a DVDFab link folder, and another StreamFab folder with two subfolders (ClientLiveUpdate and Streamfab) and a file named with a bunch of numbers but with no extension. I'm not sure what to do with all of those folders and files.
What do I need to do to correctly replace version 6.1.5.9 with this 6.1.6.4 version? Do I have to delete all of the previous folders to perform a clean «installation»? Do I need to rename the «StreamFab 6.1.5.9 (x64)» folder to just «StreamFab»? Do I have to clean something in the Windows register?
Thanks in advance, and apologies for my ignorance on the subject. It's the first time I've encountered these issues with a portable program.
