Brother's Keeper is a Windows genealogy program that will help you input and organize your family history information and let you print a large variety of charts and reports. Version 7 has a new file structure to allow for more fields and longer fields. All data that you entered into version 6 will transfer into BK 7. BK7 has the same reports and features as BK 6.6 plus extra reports and features.

Features

Longer fields

In version 6 names and locations can be 100 characters.
In version 7 names can be 110 characters and locations can be 120 characters.

Edit screen

The Edit screen in 7 looks like the one in 6.6 except in 7 the Marriage event can go above the Died and Buried events (unless you set the option to turn that off.)
In 7 if you delete someone, that BK number is automatically reused (unless you set the option to not reuse numbers.)

Longer notes

In version 7 the Internal Textfile can be any size.
