Coreprio is freeware initially created to offer Bitsum’s own implementation of AMD’s Dynamic Local Mode. Our DLM is more configurable and robust than AMD’s implementation, allowing the user to set the prioritized affinity, thread count and refresh rate.

JunctionMaster is a small and simple shell extension that will allow you to MOVE and LINK a folder in one easy step. It focuses on MOVING the folder, then replacing the original folder with a hard link (junction) to the new location. Windows (and the user) can reference the files at the same location as before, but the actual storage of them is on the other drive. It is handy for new hard drives, and also in the case of SSDs where you may wish to redirect some folders with lots of RW activity to a conventional HDD.

ThreadRacer is a CPU benchmark utility designed to test the relative performance of CPU cores. Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT) for AMD, and Hyperthreading (HT) on Intel, accelerates processing by sharing select CPU units between two logical cores, or threads. This means that every pair of CPU cores has shared computational units and cache(s). This can impact performance. Threads should be loaded on distinct CPU core sets before their pairs are utilized, something all modern OSes are aware of. In some cases, it is still preferable to manually disable SMT/HT so that threads are forced to execute on more optimal CPU cores. Process Lasso can disable SMT/HT on a per-process basis by using staggered CPU affinities.

DiskCacheMgr is a software that allows for controlling disk device write cache policies in a convenient way. Additionally, it provides a quick overview of disk write cache characteristics of particular devices and is capable of toggling the policies known as ‘Enable disk write caching’ and ‘Disable disk write cache flushing’.
