I am not sure if I understand what you mean. The download of this page provides an already patched .exe file which works for the specific version (26.1). There is no patch operation. All there is to do is to copy the patched .exe and overwrite the original .exe file.   I tried to copy this patched .exe to the new version (26.3) and it doesn't work. The new version apparently  needs also a patched .exe which will work for it. 

I hope you understand what I mean. Are you saying something else?

Oh, I think I ve got what you mean. Yes, you can download the latest version (26.3) from inside the software but it leads you to the company's site where you are able to download it but it needs patching too 

Hi, thanks for the reply. Unfortunatelly the patched .exe works only for the specific version (26.1). 
I am not sure though if that's what you are asking.
