In order to start using it, simply run the executable file it will load the Regedit.exe, you can check the details tab to verify that the regedit.exe running under SYSTEM Privileges (not necessary).
Now just try to delete the locked registry key, if you open the PowerRun.ini file you will see the “TargetApp=%systemroot%\Regedit.exe” line, after editing it like this “TargetApp=cmd.exe” double click the PowerRun.exe will automatically run the cmd.exe

If you want to add a registry key by using a Registration Entries (.reg) file you can use a parameter like this: “PowerRun.exe C:\_Test_Reg.reg” – it is the same as “regedit.exe C:\_Test_Reg.reg” parameter with TrustedInstaller privileges for example:
